Huawei Ireland

Workplace

In 2004, a four-person team brought Huawei to Ireland. The firm is now a world-leader in telecommunications, with more than 180 Irish staff and plans to recruit many more. In winter 2019, the company announced the next phase in its growth by opening a new Dublin office.

The new headquarters reflects Huawei’s global status and focus on design. The brand experience begins on arrival, in a reception that doubles as a showroom for the latest technology. To enhance the contemporary feel of this area, we produced a sleek, side lit logo for the main wall and pinned a glossy, painted steel logo into a living green wall.

Huawei wanted their international workforce to feel a connection with Dublin and the Irish market, so we branded the office floors with drawings of famous landmarks. For the lift lobbies, we bought artworks from two local illustrators and screenprinted them directly onto the wall panels. To brand the open plan offices we used optically-clear manifestations, coating glass pods with large format graphics on graduated backgrounds for the perfect privacy setting.
